Booting the Computer from a SCSI Drive

Booting the Computer from a SCSI Drive (connected to Adaptec  SCSI Controller)

NOTE: Standard hard disk drive means the disk drive(s) attached to the system by a standard ISA/EISA, non-SCSI disk adapter (example, IDE drives). Standard hard disk drives can be set to the installed or not installed state by the Setup program supplied with the computer. The Setup program allows you to select a number of standard hard disk drives that are recognized by the system, regardless of whether they are physically installed. SCSI drives are not controlled through the Setup program.
