BIOS release 1.5 for  VI7 V1.0


Release information:

1. Please use flash utility AWDFLASH v8.24F to update VI7 BIOS.
2. Add new option "DDR DQS & DQ Output Delay" to enhance the compatibility 
   of DDR400 and faster memory modules. The default setting is listed below 
   and it should fit most of memory modules; however, if there is any memory 
   instability, users could manually adjust the setting values.
   -DQS Output Delay: 2B
   -DQ Output Delay:2C
3. For DDR200/266/333 memories, above settings are automatically optimized 
   and hidden.
4. BIOS compile date: 11/12/2003

1. 請使用更新程式 AWDFLASH v8.24F 更新 VI7 BIOS。
2. 新增 "DDR DQS & DQ Output Delay" 選項 用來增加 DDR400 及更快記憶體
   模組的相容性。如下所列的預設值可適用於絕大部份的記憶體模組。然而，
   如果記憶體使用不穩定，使用者可自行調整設定值。

1. How to upgrade BIOS:

 a. Boot into MS-DOS or "Safe mode and command prompt" if you are using
    Windows95/98
 b. Run "vi715.exe" to extract all files.
 c. Run "runme.bat"

   ***  Please notice that we suggest you flashing the bios with switches

           "/py /sn /cd /cp /cc /cks /R" or by "runme.bat".

2.After BIOS updated, pull off the power cord and then clear the CMOS data
  via jumper before restarting system please.
