BIOS release 1.3 for VI7 V1.0


Release information:

1. Please use flash utility AWDFLASH v8.24F to update VI7 BIOS.
2. Add PIRQ 4~7 in the "PnP/PCI Configuration".
3. Fixed the problem that Windows schedule task cannot wake the system 
   up if the RTC alarm is enabled.
4. Fixed the problem that the system cannot boot into Windows if
   1) The OS is installed in the SATA hard disk when both the SATA and 
      PATA hard disks are present
   2) The PATA hard disk is removed after the OS installation.
5. Enhanced "Fan Fail Shutdown" function.
6. Fixed wording problem in the "Time Alarm" function.
7. Reserved IRQ9 for ACPI in the "PnP/PCI Configuration".
8. BIOS compile date: 10/24/2003.

1. 請使用更新程式 AWDFLASH v8.24F 更新 VI7 BIOS。
2. 在 "PnP/PCI Configuration" 新增 PIRQ 4~7 。
3. 修正如果啟動 RTC alarm, Windows 中 Schedule Task 會無法喚醒系統。
4. 修正當有下列情況時,系統無法進入Windows:
   1)當系統安裝均連接 P-ATA 及 S-ATA 裝置
   2)安裝完成後要移除 P-ATA 裝置
5. 新增開機時 Fan fail shutdown 功能。
6. 修正以 Key-in 方式鍵入 Time Alarm 時，會有顯示位置錯誤的情形。
7. 在 "PnP/PCI Configuration" 中保留 IRQ9 給 ACPI。
8. BIOS日期: 10/24/2003.

1. How to upgrade BIOS:

 a. Boot into MS-DOS or "Safe mode and command prompt" if you are using
    Windows95/98
 b. Run "vi713.exe" to extract all files.
 c. Run "runme.bat"

   ***  Please notice that we suggest you flashing the bios with switches

           "/py /sn /cd /cp /cc /cks /R" or by "runme.bat".

2.After BIOS updated, pull off the power cord and then clear the CMOS data
  via jumper before restarting system please.
