New Fixes/Features


1. For NF7 v2.0 motherboard, please update BIOS v1.6 in case the system   
   intermittently hangs up at POST screen of PCI devices listing with 
   BIOS v1.4 and earlier. Please update the bios by following steps,
    a. Format a floppy disk on another PC system in Windows.
    b. Copy "AWDFLASH.EXE" and "NF7D_16.BIN" files onto the floppy disk.
    c. Power on NF7 v2.0 system, insert the floppy disk into drive A, and
       press <Alt>+<F2> keys to update BIOS.
2. Please use AWDFLASH 8.23D or later to update NF7 series BIOS. With 
   incorrect AWDFLASH version, the GUID will be erased, and leads to IEEE1394 
   peer to peer function failed. AWDFLASH 8.23K is included in this BIOS 
   package.
3. Fixes systems freezes in S-ATA BIOS initial while using display card on 
   PCI slot.
4. Fixes the problem if FAN speeded too slow, system would hang at BIOS 
   screen or at watching the status in PC health Status screen.
5. BIOS Compile Date: 6/25/2003.

1. 當 NF7 v2.0 主機板使用 v1.4 或更早版本的 BIOS 時，如果偶發性開機停止在
   PCI Devices listing 畫面而無法順利開機，請利用以下方式將 BIOS 版本更新
   到 v1.6。
    a. 在另外一台電腦以 Windows 格式化一張1.44M磁片。
    b. 將 AWDFLASH.EXE 和 NF7D_16.BIN 複製到該磁片中。
    c. 啟動 NF7 v2.0 電腦, 將磁片放入A磁碟機中, 並以 <Alt>+<F2> 組合鍵將 
       bios 更新到v1.6。
2. 請使用 AWDFLASH 8.23D 或更新版本來更新 NF7 系列主機板之 BIOS。使用 
   不適當版本的 AWDFLASH 程式，會消除 GUID 並導致 IEEE1394 peer to peer 
   功能失效。 AWDFLASH 8.23K 已包含在本 BIOS 自解檔案中。
3. 修正當使用PCI 顯示卡時，hang在S-ATA BIOS initial畫面。
4. 修正風扇轉速太慢時，hang 在進入BIOS 或 在PC health Status 觀看status時。
5. BIOS 日期: 6/25/2003。

1. How to upgrade BIOS:

 a. Boot into MS-DOS or "Safe mode and command prompt" if you are using 
    Windows95/98
 b. Run "nf7d16.exe" to extract all files.
 c. Run "runme.bat"

           "/py /sn /cd /cp /cc /cks /R" or by "runme.bat".

2.After BIOS updated, pull off the power cord and then clear the CMOS data 
  via jumper before restarting system please.
