BIOS release 1.8 for KV8-MAX3 V1.0/1.1/1.2

Release information:

1. Please use flash utility AWDFLASH v8.24F to update KV8-MAX3 BIOS.
2. Add "Command Rate" option for AMD Athlon CG version and later.
3. Fixed the issue that system cannot boot from SCSI CD-ROM when onboard
   SI3114 RAID controller is enabled.
4. Add CPU fan fail alarm option.
5. Add onboard SI3114 RAID controller ROM control option. Users can 
   disable the ROM of the SI3114 RAID controller in order to gain more 
   memory space for SCSI controller or other PCI devices. Although boot 
   up from SI3114 controller and RAID function be disabled by doing so, 
   users still can control up to 4 SATA devices under OS.
6. Fixed the issue that Windows fails to install when there are 4 Hitachi 
   IC35L120AVV207-0 hard disks installed on SI3114 RAID controller.
7. BIOS compile date: 01/05/2004

4. 新增 CPU 風扇失效警告選項。
5. 新增 SI3114 RAID controller ROM control 選項。讓使用者夠選擇關閉 SI3114 
   RAID ROM 來獲的更多的記憶體空間給 SCSI 控制器或其他 PCI 裝置使用。雖然由
   SI3114 控制器開機及 RAID 功能被關閉，使用者依然可以在作業系統下使用至 4 
   組SATA 裝置。
6. 修正當使用 4 顆 Hitachi IC35L120AVV207-0 硬碟在 SI3114 RAID 控制器上無法
   安裝 Windows XP+SP1A。

1. How to upgrade BIOS:

 a. Boot into MS-DOS or "Safe mode and command prompt" if you are using
    Windows95/98
 b. Run "kv818.exe" to extract all files.
 c. Run "runme.bat"

   ***  Please notice that we suggest you flashing the bios with switches

           "/py /sn /cd /cp /cc /cks /R" or by "runme.bat".

2.After BIOS updated, pull off the power cord and then clear the CMOS data
  via jumper before restarting system please.
