BIOS release 1.4 for  KD7A  V1.0


Release information:

1. Please use flash utility AWDFLASH v8.24F to update KD7A BIOS.
2. Beep before boot.
3. Change ROMSIP table to enhance the performance.
4. Change the default setting of third boot device to CDROM
5. Change default RTC year to 2004.
6. Add new item "Master Delay Transaction" and set default to "Disable"
   for better compatibility with SATA RAID cards.
7. Fixed the issue that "CPU Fast Command Decode" may disappear when CPU
   FSB is 166/200 MHz.
8. Remove "An Energy Star Ally" string.
9. BIOS compile date: 02/24/2004.

2. 提前開機嗶聲
3. 修正 ROMSIP 表來加強效能。
4. 更修預設第三開機裝置為 CDROM。
5. 更改預設年份為 2004。
6. 新增 "Master Delay Transaction" 選項且預設為 "Disable" 來增加與部分
   SATA RAID 卡的相容性。
7. 修正當CPU 外頻在 166/200 MHz 時 "CPU Fast Command Decode" 選項可能消失

1. How to upgrade BIOS:

 a. Boot into MS-DOS or "Safe mode and command prompt" if you are using
    Windows95/98
 b. Run "kdv14.exe" to extract all files.
 c. Run "runme.bat"

   ***  Please notice that we suggest you flashing the bios with switches

           "/py /sn /cd /cp /cc /cks /R" or by "runme.bat".

2.After BIOS updated, pull off the power cord and then clear the CMOS data
  via jumper before restarting system please.
