BIOS release EC for  KD7/KD7-RAID/KD7-E  V1.0


Release information:

1. Change "CPU Disconnect Function" default setting.
2. Add AMD Duron 1400(133)/1600(133)/1800(133) support.
3. Fix the issue that the system occasionally hangs at post code 26
   if the system is using 133/166 FSB CPU and the power was turned off
   during boot up procedure when the post code is AE.
4. Change the BIOS of HPT 372 to version 2.34 for 48-bit LBA support
   (HDD size larger then 137GB). The RAID function is for KD7-RAID only.
   This BIOS version is also for non-RAID boards and HPT BIOS will be
   automatically disabled while RAID controller chip is not detected.
5. BIOS compile date: 08/28/2003.

2. 增加支援 AMD Duron 1400(133)/1600(133)/1800(133)。
3. 修正使用 133/166 外頻CPU開機時 postcode 執行到 AEh 時，關掉電源後再
   開機偶而會當在 postcode 26h 的問題。
4. 更換HightPoint HPT372 BIOS 為 v2.34。以支援48 Bit LBA (支援容量超過
   137G的硬碟)本 BIOS 同時適用於非 RAID 之主機 板上。當 BIOS 偵測到您
   使用的主機板不含 RAID 時將會自動 disable HPT BIOS。

1. How to upgrade BIOS:

 a. Boot into MS-DOS or "Safe mode and command prompt" if you are using
    Windows95/98
 b. Run "kd7ec.exe" to extract all files.
 c. Run "runme.bat"

   ***  Please notice that we suggest you flashing the bios with switches

           "/py /sn /cd /cp /cc /cks /R" or by "runme.bat".

2.After BIOS updated, pull off the power cord and then clear the CMOS data
  via jumper before restarting system please.
