BIOS release 1.2 for  IS-10  V1.0


Release information:

1. Please use flash utility AWDFLASH v8.24F to update IS-10 / IS-11 
   / IS-12 BIOS.
2. Add Intel P4 Extreme Edition support.
3. Add CPU brand name on the POST screen.
4. Fixed the problem that the system cannot boot into Windows if
   1) The OS is installed in the SATA hard disk when both the SATA and 
      PATA hard disks are present.
   2) The PATA hard disk is removed after the OS installation.
5. Hide the OnBoard VGA options when AGP card is installed.
6. Revise some DMI information.
7. BIOS compile date: 11/19/2003

1. 請使用更新程式 AWDFLASH v8.24F 更新 IS-10 / IS-11 /IS-12 BIOS。
2. 新增Intel P4 Extreme Edition 支援。
3. 新增在 POST 畫面可顯示 CPU 品牌名稱。
4. 修正當滿足以下兩個條件時，系統無法開進 Windows 作業系統，
   1) 在 SATA 硬碟上安裝作業系統時，且系統上同時存在 SATA 跟 PATA 
      硬碟。
   2) 在安裝完作業系統後移除 PATA 硬碟。
5. 使用外接AGP VGA卡時,自動隱藏OnBoard VGA 選項。
6. 修改DMI information。
7. BIOS 日期: 11/19/2003。

1. How to upgrade BIOS:

 a. Boot into MS-DOS or "Safe mode and command prompt" if you are using
    Windows95/98
 b. Run "is1212.exe" to extract all files.
 c. Run "runme.bat"

   ***  Please notice that we suggest you flashing the bios with switches

           "/py /sn /cd /cp /cc /cks /R" or by "runme.bat".

2.After BIOS updated, pull off the power cord and then clear the CMOS data
  via jumper before restarting system please.
