BIOS release 1.4 for AI7  V1.0


Release information:

1. Please use flash utility AWDFLASH v8.24F to update AI7 BIOS.
2. Add Pentium 4 Extreme Edition support.
3. Disable Winbond W83627HF sensor unit to prevent incorrect CPU voltage 
   information shown in some third party software.
4. Fixed the problem that BIOS will show the string"AGP/PCI Frequency 
   is 66/33MHz" twice after worm boot.
5. Fixed the problem that certain CD/DVD-ROM could not be correctly 
   detected when there is a HDD drive attached on the same IDE cable.
6. Fixed the problem that system will reboot when the"Resume by Alarm" 
   is enabled and user pressed power button to shutdown the system 
   during POST.
7. Fixed the problem that IDE devices cannot be detected correctly 
   if TAB and DEL is pressed at the same time when entering the BIOS 
   setup
8. Fixed HDD size detected as 136GB when 200/250/300 GB SATA drives are 
   connected to SATA1 or SATA2 (ICH5 SATA channels).
9. Enhance system performance.

1. 請使用更新程式 AWDFLASH v8.24F 更新 AI7 BIOS。
2 .新增支援 Pentium 4 - Extreme Edition。
3. 取消 Winbond W83627 之硬體偵測功能，以防止一些 third party 軟體顯示錯誤
   之 CPU電壓等資料。
4. 修正暖開機後會顯示兩次 "AGP/PCI Frequency is 66/33MHz" 字串之問題。
5. 修正當使用某些 HDD 和 CD/DVD-ROM 搭配(接在同一channel上)，在開機時會有偵測
   不到之問題。
6. 修正當啟用 "Resume by alarm" 選項並在 POST 過程中按 power button關機後，
   系統會重新啟動之問題。
7. 修正當進入 BIOS SETUP 時若同時按 TAB 和 DEL 會造成 IDE 裝置無法正確偵測到。
8. 修正當 200/250/300 GB SATA 硬碟連接在 SATA1 或 SATA2 (ICH5 SATA channels) 
   時會偵測為 136GB 的問題。 
9. 增進系統效能。

1. How to upgrade BIOS:

 a. Boot into MS-DOS or "Safe mode and command prompt" if you are using
    Windows95/98
 b. Run "ai714.exe" to extract all files.
 c. Run "runme.bat"

           "/py /sn /cd /cp /cc /cks /R" or by "runme.bat".

2.After BIOS updated, pull off the power cord and then clear the CMOS data
  via jumper before restarting system please.
