Abstract: NO VIDEO DURING POST after REBOOT OR POWER CYCLE


SYMPTOM:

The system displays NO video during POST which may be accompanied by POST beeps (beep code varies) after a reboot or power cycle. This symptom occurs only in a dual processor system if the processor stepping levels are different.


PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:



Netfinity 5500 / 5500-M10 BIOS Flash Update Diskette Revision 62A v1.05 or lower.


FIX:
