The following IBM tower models:

6898 - IntelliStation M-Pro
6892 - PC300PL
8644 - Netfinity 3500
8476 - Netfinity 3000

may be mounted in a horizontal position as long as the following clearances are met:

102 mm (4 in.) clearance in the front with adequate venting.
127 mm (5 in.) clearance in the rear with adequate venting.
55 mm (2 in.) clearance for three other sides when horizontal:
Left side, Right side, and Top (cover) side.
CD-ROM retention clips or bar are engaged when a CD is present in the CD-ROM drive.

NOTE: The tower models above are not designed to fit into a standard rack enclosure.

The clearances above are necessary for proper ventilation, and if not met, may void the product warranty.
