Configure the System temporarily with less than 1GB RAM to run the ServerGuide
"HardwareGuide" CD, then reinstall / configure the System RAM prior to running the SoftwareGuide (CD#2).
DETAILS:
The problem is specific to the "HardwareGuide" (CD#1) contained in Serverguide
versions 4.0 thru 4.0.3 ONLY when the System is configured with 1GB RAM or greater.
The companion "SoftwareGuide" (CD#2) is not affected. Systems configured with less than 1GB RAM are NOT affected.
This problem has been fixed in ServerGuide 4.0.4
NOTE: The "HardwareGuide" contained in ServerGuide is version specific and
may not work properly with a different version of ServerGuide.
NOTE: ServerGuide version 4.0.4 is downward compatible with respect to hardware
supported in previous versions 4.0 thru 4.0.3.
