Alphanumeric and Numeric Pager Dialout Information:

When the ASMA (Advanced Systems Management Adapter) forwards Automatic Dialout information to a pager, specific numeric information (for digital pagers), and alphanumeric information (for alphanumeric pagers) will be forwarded.

The information (alert) that is forwarded is dependent on which Automatic Dialout event has occurred.


CRITICAL EVENTS feature the following alphanumeric and numeric data:

   TEMPERATURE
                Text:  Temperature
        Numeric Data:  00
   VOLTAGE
                Text:  Voltage
        Numeric Data:  01
   TAMPER
                Text:  Tamper
        Numeric Data:  02
   MULTIPLE FAN FAILURE
                Text:  Multiple Fan Failure
        Numeric Data:  03
   POWER FAILURE
                Text:  Power Failure
        Numeric Data:  04
   HARD DRIVE FAILURE
                Text:  Hard Drive
        Numeric Data:  05


NON-CRITICAL EVENTS feature the following alphanumeric and numeric data:

   SINGLE FAN FAILURE

   TEMPERATURE
                Text:  Non-Critical Temperature

   POST TIMEOUT
                Text:  Post Hang
