720KB & 1.44MB Diskette Drive replacement
PURPOSE:
Provide a replacement Diskette Drive for failing 720KB and 1.44MB
Diskette Drives which match the physical check description.
PHYSICAL check:
Inspect failing 720KB Diskette Drives for a barcode label range of
B1DN0 012001 thru B1DN0 372355 or A1BN9 173251 thru A1BN9 203553.
Inspect failing 1.44MB Diskette Drives for a barcode label
range of B1BA0 000001 thru B1BA0 216834.
DETAIL:
If a Diskette Drive in an 8530, 8550, 8560 or 8580 fails diagnostics
or POST and meets the physical check requirements, replace the
failing drive using this ECA:.
