Iconworks for Windows
PROBLEM - When using Iconworks for Windows to draw a square, the square borders may show
uneven thickness in the 1024 x 768 x 256 mode.
Machines AFFECTED -
All 6382/S. 6384/D, and 6387/T.
SOLUTION -
There are too many versions of S3 video drivers in the Windows/system directory.
perform the following:
1. go to Windows/system directory.
2. delete all s3*.drv files.
3. delete all s3's oem*.inf files (only those OEM files for s3).
4. reinstall the latest S3 video driver for Windows.
