2.88MB floppy will not format
PROBLEM - If the system boots from a hard-drive, the 2.88 floppy drive will not format,
read, or write in 1.44MB or 720KB mode.
Machines AFFECTED - Valuepoint 6384 P60 systems.
SOLUTION - Current FLASH/BIOS does not program the floppy drive controller correctly.
Signal DRATE0 is not enabled as an out put as required by Valuepoint 2.88MB drives.
Enter the configuration utility, page 2, and set diskette_drive_x to 2.88MB 3.5".
SOLUTION - RE-FLASH the system to level 1.00.06.AV0M BIOS
