Upper one third of display corrupted



PROBLEM - The upper one third of the display may be corrupted when switching from ROM the MSDOS session and back to the desktop manager under Windows 3.11 with a 8514/A video driver installed.

Systems AFFECTED - All 6384 mod P60's with a 8514/A video driver installed.

SOLUTION - Perform the following:
  1.  Exit out of Windows back to a DOS prompt
  2.  Insert ATI driver diskettes 1 into drive a
  3.  Enter INSTALL on the DOS command line. Wait for the main menu to appear.
  4.  Select "set power-up configuration" and press enter
  5.  Select "VGA memory size" and set it to 256K and press enter
  6.  Press F10 to save the configuration
  7.  Press "ESC" until you are back to the DOS prompt
