The system fixes incorporated in FLASH code level 51A are as follows:
o Loss of video when switching between graphics mode and text mode when using a custom
character font set in addition to using the standard character font set.
o Unreadable video after installing SCO UNIX operating system.
o 162/163 error instead of 8603 error after an installed mouse is removed.
o Diskette drive failures while running DOS 5.0 and EMM386 when a Busmaster option card
is installed.
o System unable to recognize an installed 212mb IBM hard disk drive.
o Windows 32 bit disk driver usability problems resolved.
The system fixes incorporated in FLASH code level 53a are as follows:
o Eliminate disabling of the serial ports after "soft boot" (CTR-ALT-DEL).
o Correct color problems running autocad in 800 x 600 64K colors.
o Support 8514 monitor 1024 x 768 43Hz interlaced mode.
o Support 1024 x 768 72hz non interlaced mode.
o Fixed various monitor timing problems that can cause the displayed image to be narrow or
not centered.
The system fixes incorporated in FLASH code level 54A are as follows:
o System hang with condition with 128k L2 cache installed
o Updates to the S3 video code
o Fix for stack underflow or floating point errors
o Fix for failing adapters utilizing interrupt 2
The system fixes incorporated in FLASH code level 58A are as follows:
o System hang condition caused by POST checking for the presence of an L2 cache option
when there is no cache card installed in the system. This failure was found in
manufacturing test; no field failures reported.
o Fix for intermittent 102 POST errors during a warm boot
The system fixes incorporated in FLASH code Level LCTT02A are as follows:
o Move video BIOS to free upper memory block E000-Efff. Fixes upper memory.
