Expansion Bays
Expansion Bays
The server comes with one 3.5-inch, 1.44MB diskette drive.
The number of hard disk drives that come with the server varies by
model.
- Open Bays: The open bays provide the flexibility to use
combinations of 3.5-inch or 5.25-inch hard disk,
CD-ROM, tape, and rewritable optical drives in the server.
For installation instructions and
information on the types of drives that you can install in each bay,
see your Installing Options
- CD-ROM Drive: All models come with a
CD-ROM drive.
- Diskette Drive: All models come with
a 3.5-inch, 1.44MB diskette drive that
uses 1MB (unformatted) and 2MB (unformatted) diskettes.
- Hard Disk Drive: The number of preinstalled
drives and their capacities vary by model.
