C.0 Appendix C. Contents of the LAN Support Program Custom Version 1.01 Program Diskette
This appendix lists the files included in the LAN Support Program Custom
Version 1.01.
File Description
DXMA0MOD.SYS Interrupt X'5C' arbitrator. Also handles the
message file and establishes the country code for
the message file.
DXMT0MOD.SYS NETBIOS interface device driver. Presents the
NETBIOS application interface and communicates
(downward) to an IEEE 802.2 application interface.
DXMC0MOD.SYS Device driver that directly supports the Token-Ring
Network Adapter and presents the IEEE 802.2
application interface.
DXM.MSG LAN Support Program Custom message file used by the
device drivers. Contains all LAN Support Program
Custom driver messages, except the message which
tells the user about message file problems (message
06E). The version of this file provided with the
LAN Support Program Custom is in U.S. English.
DXMMSG.001 The U.S. English message file. (1)
DXMMSG.034 Message file for Spanish.
DXMMSG.049 Message file for German.
DXMMSG.081 Message file for Japanese.
DXMAID.EXE LAN Support Program Custom installation program.
DXMAID.001 Panel file for U.S. English. Contains all the
installation program panels, except for the driver
parameter information.
README.LSP Information that either became available too late or
is too transitory in nature to be included in the
User's Guide.
DXMC0MOD.NIF NIF for DXMC0MOD.SYS
DXMT0MOD.NIF NIF for DXMT0MOD.SYS
NOTE: The NIFs have the file extension NIF and are located in a NIF\ccc
subdirectory. The characters ccc represent the DOS country code.
(1) If one of the language-specific message files is used, it
must be renamed DXM.MSG. The Installation Aid does this
renaming automatically. See "Copying DXM.MSG" in topic 3.2.1
for more information.
