Introduction (ServeRAID)
Introduction
The IBM PC ServeRAID Adapter is a high performance adapter with 4MB cache memory (default set to write-back mode), that interfaces between
the host PCI bus and three independent SCSI buses. The IBM PC ServeRAID Adapter implements
redundant array of independent disks (RAID) levels 0, 1 and 5 and can support
up to 45 SCSI hard disk drives, with 15 SCSI hard disk drives on each SCSI channel bus.
The ServeRAID adapter supports SCSI-3 Ultra Fast/Wide protocol and can support up to 40MB per second
data rate per SCSI bus.
The ServeRAID adapter can be used with several operating systems.

- Novell NetWare
- MS Windows NT 3.51
- SCO OpenServer 5.0
- DOS
The Device Driver/Administration and Monitoring diskette contains files that must be installed when
you use one of the above operating systems. Be sure to read README file on the Device Driver/Administration and Monitoring diskette
for the appropriate installation instructions for each program.
