Turning the Power On (Netfinity EXP15 - 3520)

•  Initial start-up:
  1.  Verify that all communication and power cables are plugged into the back of the Expansion Unit.
     1.  All hard disk drives are locked securely in place.
     2.  The Option ID switches on the Expansion Unit are set correctly.
     3.  The host controller and other SCSI bus devices are ready for the initial power-up.
     4.  Power-on the Expansion Unit before powering on the server.

  2.  Turn on the power to each device, based on this power-up sequence.
  3.  Turn on both  power supply switches on the back of the Expansion Unit.
  4.  Only the green LEDs on the front and back should be on. If one or more of the amber Fault  LEDs are on refer to 'Symptom-to-FRU Index'.

•  Re-starting:

   If you are re-starting after a normal shutdown, wait at least ten seconds before you attempt to turn on either    power supply switches.
