Intel Packet Protect Monitor

Intel Packet Protect Monitor monitors secure communications on Intel Packet Protect-enabled systems. You can use this tool to check on the status of your secure communications, including:

How do I start Intel Packet Protect Monitor?

General Tab

The General tab provides summary data about your status, security associations, and configuration.

The information presented on this tab is updated frequently to provide you with the latest information available about Intel Packet Protect. The Hardware Offload statistic is updated each time the security actions change. The Security Association Summary is updated in real time, meaning that as soon as a security association is made, the information is updated. The Number of Deny SAs indicates how many security associations are currently denied.

Associations Tab

The Associations tab lists all of the active security associations (SAs) in effect on your system. When you select a security association, detailed information about that SA is displayed, including:

Click the Lookup and Show FQDNs check box to convert the numeric IP addresses into fully-qualified domain names. This translation is performed by the DNS (Domain Name Server) system.

Click the Refresh button to update the security associations statistics.
